Eklavya is an Indian film (originally titled Yagna), directed by vidhu vinod chopra to be released in 2006. It stars Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Saif Ali Khan, Sharmila Tagore, Jackie Shroff, Raima Sen and Vidya Balan.
The principal shooting of the film finished in April 2006. The primary location was Rajasthan but some filming took place at the Devigarh Palace in Udaipur, Jaipur and Bikaner. The film is to be released in the second quarter of 2006.
The Royal Guard is about Eklavya (Amitabh Bachchan) a loyal guardian of an ancient royal castle whose duty is to protect those who live within the family. The guardian vows to burn down all the secrets of the family with the holy fire of his own funeral.
